Make Something with LOVE - Thu, Feb 5th, 2015

We LOVE what we do...

So what better way to express that then to sit down together and make Valentine’s Day cards?

For about an hour after lunch the other day, we gathered around a delightfully messy table to create.

Filled with tapes, punches, pre-cut die cuts and blank cards… we played to our hearts content with Little B products.

One of us started with a photo of her dog for her card image (and she added the sentiment too).

Another used a punched printed title in a layered punch-out to state her thoughts.

We punched strips and arranged die cuts for pop and dimension.

We played with the paper and foil washi tape... a lot... what fun.

We added on embellishments and handwritten sentiments for that extra something to express ourselves.

We had a blast learning, sharing, laughing… and yes, crafting!

The best thing was that we got to create something from our heart to give to someone we love.

Here are a few more Valentine's Day cards ideas:

Use the Monogram die cut to spell out LOVE in a slant or on the fold line.

Back the cut-out letters with a solid or patterned paper. Embellishments make great add-ons, too!

Use a tennis racquet embellishment to replace the “O” from the die cut word LOVE.

You can also allow a tennis ball embellishment to poke through (as in the die cut letter “A” in ALL LOVE).

Arrange foil washi hearts into “tape paper” prior to die cutting out the monogram letters to spell YOU.

Or, cover the die cut monogram letters with small hearts paper tape. The 3mm fits perfectly (miter corners if you want it super neat!)

Whatever you make for Valentine’s Day, make it with love.
